India A Thrash Pakistan A By 158 Runs To Clinch ACC Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 Title
India A registered a comprehensive 158-run victory over Pakistan A in the final of the ACC Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023.
After posting a commanding 353 runs in their allotted 50 overs, India A bowled out Pakistan A for 195 in 39.5 overs.
Openers Yash Dhull (78) and Shaik Rasheed (79) provided a solid foundation for India A's innings. Skipper Raj Angad Bawa (52) and wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Bana (48) added valuable contributions down the order.
For Pakistan A, Mohammad Wasim Jr. picked up three wickets, including the prized scalp of Dhull.
In response, Pakistan A's batting lineup struggled against India A's disciplined bowling attack. Only Tayyab Tahir (100) offered any resistance, scoring a valiant century.
Right-arm pacer Ravi Kumar top-scored for India A with three wickets, while Bawa, Kaushal Tambe, and Anuj Rawat picked up two wickets each.
